Residency at Cornelius Vermuyden School and Arts College, Canvey Island, Essesx

Over a 4 month residency Vanessa worked with 500 community members to explore the landscape, shared history and personal memories. The project culminated in a large textile map of Canvey Island.
Participants included students from Cornelius Vermuyden, Northwick Park, Lubbins Park, Leigh Beck and Canvey Junior Schools, Canvey Island Archive, the Rendezvous Club, and Fairhaven Hospice.
